Hi everyone…. As an inaugural experiment in mobcasting, I've created a mobcasting tool for presidential inauguration protestors. I posted a note to a couple of protest group sites, and have set up the blog so that the instructions for participating are right on the homepage. At this point I just plan to sit back and see if anything happens. -andy

NO to Mobcasting !
I say no to mobcasting as contraction of the terms mobile and PODcasting.
Actually, it’s not a contraction between mobile and podcasting. You’re missing the most important element - Smart Mobs. Mobcasting isn’t simply about anyone with a mobile phone that’s podcasting. Mobcasting is about empowering groups of people - ie Smart Mobs - to be able to share experiences from an event as a podcast. So feel free to call mobile phone podcasting whatever you want.
