China: Detained blogger missed

Nina, sister of illegally-detained Beijing or Bust blogger Wu Hao, spent the last few hours of his thirty-fourth birthday unable to access the MSN Spaces blog on which she documents the efforts being made to learn of her brother's whereabouts and secure his release.

“My little brother also has an insatiable sweet-tooth, so I ordered our famous Sichuan sweet dumplings with fermented rice. My little brother was absent, so I had to help him finish this simple birthday meal,” she writes of the birthday celebration she held on Wu Hao's behalf.

  • To who, it may concern:

This is the firs time I came across this website and read of the fate of Wu Hao. I am writing to express my person support in seeking to investigate and to bring the matter of his arrest to the proper authority, here in the US and to bring this matter to the proper authority for his release.

I will appreciate being kept informed of his status and am willing to assist whatever means possible to obtain justice for him….assuming that in the event he has committed a crime, then let it be known to his family and friends and for Mr. Wu to accept whatever legal implication therefrom; whereas, if and should he be held again his wishes simply because of his belief and or political reasons, such as voicing his opinion in certain things and on taking position that may be offensive to the Chinese Government, then we must seek to obtain justice for him and whoever that may befall in his same position…

This is end, I am forwarding his and ether’s situation to the attention of as many friends of mine as I can in the days to come and to follow up close on how the end-results are with those of you interested in justice being prevailed for all of us.

Many thanks for those of you who share the same position.

    Regards,

    Dr. Timothy t. Law, FACFE
