Haiti is a beautiful place.
I was shock, happy, sad to see the Cathedral of Hinche, my beloved hometown in the net. It is beautiful! Thank you! I am not ashamed to say this the first time that I see it. Keep putting positive images about Haiti on the net and specially about Hinche such peaceful and beautiful town that I love and miss so much. For me, please keep showing Hinche!! Good job! Good luck! God Bless you!
Iam looking for volunteers to travel Hince this summer. Want to join? July3-13
Thanks. Your comment made my day!
I did not know that hinche has such beautiful corner, thanks to the photographer and thanks to hinche.
thanks for showing my native corner thru such a bright and beautiful image.Next time show us a picture of bassin-zim,the giant water fall that stands majestuous second to none in the northeastern outskirt of the city just miles away.Show them the oldest church of the new world built in the early 1500’s just blocs away from the new cathedral.
Thanks so much all for your enthusiasm about this image. I highly recommend that you subscribe to GV’s Haiti RSS feed:

Ciao!
While enjoying the picture of the new cathedral, we should not forget the old one. It has some historical value for being one the oldest churches of the New World.
Here is a link to a photo of teh old cathedral, still from Martin Baran’s photo blog:

This conveys more than just an architectural piece, it is also an artistic value; it’s almost camouflage with the firmament…Wow.
Check out this site….Great place to share your view on Haiti or Hinche….
