Sudanese Thinker discusses the root causes of the conflict in Sudan, “The CBS documentary is cool but it fails like many other articles to describe the root causes of the conflict correctly. They’ve oversimplified it as a racist genocidal war by Arabs against Africans. While racism is definitely an element and the war has taken a genocidal nature, other important points are ignored and some are just plain wrong.”

I would like to comment to some of the root causes of the problem: One failure is that the Sudan government is dominated by Arabic people and they orientated Arabic style and Arabian favorite governance though there is huge number of non-Arabic people in Sudan. This means the failure of governance balancing might lead the conflict. Generally, in democratic country with some different ethnic and cultural people, political leader or civil servant have to be very careful of such difference and its balance. You can understand it easily as simply observe the even the USA. Sometimes, it requires certain Governance Structure to be balanced between different people. Though, my resource is limited at this moment to know if their government structure, election system or military control were suited for them to keep balance, it might be a meaningful idea to reconsider it.
Thanks for those who tried to deal and descused the root couses of the Sudan conflict.
1. I agreed with the statement that balancing of power.
2. Meant weak governments put in power by ruling power goverment in Khartoum.
3. How can an elepant flight or talk to an ante. or balance themselves.
4. I mean here when goverment ot state is formed always they say (Government) our poeople. On top of that we are all people of Sudan apart South or North.
5. Somebody who did attend any class working as driver if he/she joint Their party they do say this is our man who will never do anything for their people
Thanks
Paul
