The airing of such imagery is a grave mistake…something that I have seen for too long in my own little island as regards to presenting news on crime.” And Bahamian Nicolette Bethel posts video of the university's Professor of English delivering the closing speech at the convocation of Virginia Tech in the wake of this week’s tragedy: “At these times, it’s art — poetry, music, dance, theatre, painting — that do the job we really need.”
