Iraqi Raed Jarrar will finally have his say in court after filing for a discrimination law suit against a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) official and JetBlue Airways for illegally discriminating against him based solely on the Arabic message on his t-shirt and his ethnicity.

I thought he’s Palestinian? He changed his mind again? Can we (Americans) file a lawsuit against him, if he falsely claimed to be Palestinian in order to gain entry into the United States? Because I personally don’t think an Iraqi, living in Iraq, during a war, who advocated the death of American troops, should have been given a visa to travel to the US. Somebody messed up pretty bad, there.
Maybe they’ll get that sorted out in court as well. I hope so.
Mr. Jarrar seems to have moved to the United States from Iraq in 2005, at least according to his lawyer.
He’s a somewhat more colorful figure than the news items I read about him would suggest.
And, with respect, I think that we may not have heard Mr. Jarrar’s final say just yet.
With the ACLU involved in his lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security, I think we may be assured that his case will be taken as far as the courts will allow.
