Chine : Découverte d’un poisson géant...

Kenneth Tan from Shanghaiist reported on the discovery of a giant man-eating cat-fish in a Guangdong reservoir. However some netizens said that the mutant cat-fish may in fact be a whale shark. See for yourself.

Looks like a whale shark, and they aren’t man-eaters (they are filter feeders). If you look at the things mouth it doesn’t look like it has the capability to eat large prey.

Further, look at the contents of the abdomen as they butcher it. There is a sequence of pictures from no cuts, to making steak cuts, but there are no human remains in any of the sequence. If they found a human in there, I can gaurantee the cameras would be working overtime (mine would).

This looks like a hoax. The real news is that a whale shark (gentle giants they are) was cut up for meat.

will whale shark survive in flesh water? unless the information about the reservoir is also fake… just curious.
