Czech Republic: A Message to Condoleezza Rice

On one wall in Brno, the second-largest Czech city, there's a collective letter to U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. When Swobodin v Brne discovered it, he asked a friend to do an English translation of the text that appears next to Ms. Rice's portrait and a reproduction of a painting of African slaves:

Dear Madam the minister,

Please do not forget your slave origins.
They got their freedom.
Let freedom and peace to other people.

Sincerely,
Brno people.

  • That is very cool. But I don’t think it would change her if she read it.

  • interesting, but a bit juvenile…

…i would leave a note for czech republic, please don’t forget that your country is becoming a major trafficking point for sex slaves (women and children) and work slaves in europe…

such trite and superficial exchanges don’t really get us anywhere, do they?

The American Condelezza Rice lied to the WORLD about Iraq’s bomb (NO BOMB), lied about Iraq’s involvement in 911 (NO INVOLVEMENT), and now she wants a missile system to kill whatever Iraqi people are left in the Middle East?

I am with a growing number of Canadians who believe she should be tried by the World Court for War Crimes against the Iraqi people and hung.

i’m fairly certain the missile system has nothing to do with Iraq, and everything to do with Iran, and the recently testy Russia. I understand the world’s feelings about US FP, but this is something not worth getting riled about.
