I live in Bermuda. While my husband and I were driving home this evening, we spotted a bright green light crossing the sky in the East-it looked like a single firework and was extremely close-it didn’t look like a falling star far away in space which I’ve seen before. It started off green and changed to yellow and had a tail streak thing behind it. I was so startled I screamed ‘What’s that?’ The closeness of it scared me. We thought it could be a flare, but living on an island we’ve seen these before. Furthermore, I called our Marine Police and they were not aware of any incidents nor had they seen a flare or had any reported. When I told my children about it, my daughter told me there were other sightings in other countries, thus I did a search and here I am. I’m really shaken and trying to find a rational explanation for all this, but I can’t find one-especially as the military denies any involvement. What could this be?

My husband and I spotted something similar twice. Once was several years ago, maybe 2 or three years ago.
This last time was on January 26th.
We vacation in a fishermen town without electricity, so
the sky we see is a “Disney sky”, where you feel how small we humans are. We normally spot satellites and shooting stars (watching the sky is amazing at nights).
Both sights were different, though. The first one was fluorescent green and had clear red, yellow and orange colors on the “tail”, like a rainbow. It also had some blues. But it left a print on the sky for a while, that could be seen for several seconds after it vanished.
This second one was also fluorescent green and had only some sparkles in orange, yellow, red colors. Besides, if it hadn’t been green, it could have been confused with a rocket or a firework thrown from an helicopter towards earth (this just as an example to give an idea of the speed and the direction). This one didn’t leave any print on the sky.
This sights happened in Rocha, Uruguay, South America.
We saw something else last year: a very bright white light of the size of a light bulb seen at distance, which turned suddenly very bright… and then it simply vanished leaving a print of “white dust”.
Could it have been a very fast UFO ? Or a star exploding ?
Guess we will never find out about all these three sightings.
i have had 2 similar experiences. the first time was around march/april 2007 in oklahoma city, ok. my friend and i were driving home around 11 pm and to the east of us, what looked like less than a mile from us, was a bright green “explosion” in the sky. it was far too close to the ground to be a shooting star or anything else i could have imagined. it was incredibly bright almost neon green and vanished after just a few seconds.
the second time was just tonight, on february 24th, 2008 at around midnight. it looked almost exactly the same as the first one i had seen and even to the east of me, not too far away, it seemed. now i live an hour and a half southeast of oklahoma city, though.
i would very much like to get some feedback from other viewers of similar sightings. please feel free to contact me.
I seen the same thing tonight February 28th 2008 From my home in Holly Hill Florida, it happend around 10:25 PM and shot Directly Verticle and was bright green, I do not know what it was but i to would be interested in knowing what it was, The Location that it happend was West of my Area so it would have been heading towards Deland (If you look on a map you will see where i live Holly Hill Florida)

This morning March 27th 6:30am at dawn in Eastern USA, My mother and I saw something very strange in the sky that we cannot come up with any explanation what it would be. The object was rather high in the sky like an airplane would be, and it was a bright green light. It hoovered for a moment and had a zipping like motion, then it hoovered there for maybe two seconds then zipped up into the sky fast and dissapeared. I do not know of any flying object that would have that kind of movement plus no sound. My mother and I just kind of looked at each other a little startled and said, “You saw that too?”, and “Is it just me or does that seem a little bit Phoenominal.”
I have seen something similar to what everyone else on here is describing.
I saw what resembled a green firework streaking across the sky. But this was no firework, it seemed to be a green fireball with a long green tail following it, moving very very fast downward of in the distance. This light happened in West Point, Mississippi at around 1:00 in the morning on March 27. I really would like to know what this light really was, I have a firm belief in God and do not believe in any advanced lifeforms living elsewhere in the universe, but this was by far the strangest thing I have ever seen.
I am afraid to say anything to my family, friends, councilors, or anyone I no. I believe they would think I am lying, or am on drugs or something like that. So if any of you have any information on what I saw please let me know.

I live in West Virginia, in a small town subdivision. Last week I pulled into my driveway and saw to the left of me what I thought was a falling star. I was on the phone with my husband and said, ” I just saw a falling star..” i then said, ” oh no it was a bright neon green light that I would also describe to have a tail like appearance. I would also describe it to look like a fire work (but no noise) I told my family. I know it sounds crazy but I know what I saw. I am a mother of 3 (never been on drugs, do not drink). I would love to have an explanation of what I saw…
There is a green light today over Vancouver. My friend has taken a picture of it. It looks like a beam of light and it appears to be stationary for last 3-4 hrs. Some people saw it yesterday too.
Well, since the report on drudgereport.com of the 4/21/08 Phoenix, AZ, U.S.A. sightings I have really become interested in this. I am a skeptic, but I am also a realist. I have never seen any object in the sky in my life that I could not explain.
I am 43 years old and live in Snow Hill, Md. on the East Coast of U.S. I am also a Christian and I do believe in the return of Jesus Christ. The Bible does say something about “there will be signs in the heavens” about the “last days” but it is not specific. I’ll keep looking as I am definitely intrigued.
i was walking back home, i saw this long green beam of light in the sky. i stared at it for a while. it was definately coming from above the clouds, since parts of the lights were missing due to the clouds below them… the light wud stay on for 10-15 sec and go off for a couple seconds and so on… then i saw this airplane moving past it, at a relatively low altitude… perhaps checking on what it was… u cud work out how big it was comparing it to the size of the airplane.. it was a pretty long beam… i went back in to tell my room mate to come out and have a look and it was gone… certainly gave me goosebumps…
after further searching, i found out the light is actually a caused by a very strong laser used for a university project… so problem solved for me…
I also see this green light in the air, but now I also think it may be from the same university project that Vancouver Boy is talking about..still very spooky..

I am really freaking out here! Last night on April 24th, 2008.. I was at my girlfriends house playing cards. It was around 12:30 or 1:00 in the morning when I decided to leave and come home… When I tipped the hill that overlooks the water, I seen this bright green light.. It was just like a single firework.. I eman honestly… it was just like as if you took a firework and lite it, and watched how it fell really slow and graceful… well this is EXACTLY how this looked.. so I thoguht Hummm… I wonder if someone shot off a flare out on the water… So I stopped and looked out around, and it was total blackness.. The bright green light fell really graceful, and it just vanished!! it lasted for about 5 seconds… I can’t stop thinking about it!! Please, if ANYONE has any information please lettme know! I really don’t think it was a ufo or anything like that… I just would like to have some kind of explanation for this! This happened in Newfoundland, Canada. Thanks for all your help people..! this has me creeped out!
i have just come home from belfast city in northern ireland and i have just seen exactly what is described here. no noise and what looked like a white tail with a green ball at the front. think it might have had a yellow glow around the egde of the green ball. it was seen at 11.45pm and were just astounded. please find what it is.
I live in Dumfries, Scotland and last night when my mate and I were walking home at about 2320hrs, I spotted a green fluorescent light flashing across the sky. It was not very high and had what appeared to be a kind of yellow tail behind it. The other thing was there was no noise at all. And then it vanished. I am a sceptic but could not account for what this was. Absolutely amazing. What could it have been?
About 5 minutes ago 11:55 pm UK - Staffordshire! I looked out my window just gazeing and out of no where something spead from the sky behind me to the front, I would describe it as some sort of green opject with maybe a few other light colours as dots in the front sparkling. The end of it seem to fade, at first I thought it was a firework, but then I realised it was way to high and for it to be fired in that posistion and at that height it must of been fired from a mountain - so I ruled that out and now im here,… what the hell could it be?
my friends think I’m seeing things but this morning at 1:30 am I was on my back porch since I could not sleep, I was talking to a friend on the phone and I was looking out over the roof of my house and saw a green ball of light, it looked as though it fell from the sky but not knowing it exact location or actual size it could have went across the sky, I screamed and run through in my back door and went out the front, it looked as though it fell in my neighbors yard across the road from me, I could not see anything in his yard or any where around, my friend on the phone told me I was nuts, several of my friends laughed at me but I found this site which shows several people with similar sightings.

i have done a little research and i believe we must of seen the same thing, some meteors very RARELY have a green streak due to it burning up, and meteors landing on earth or close to are very rare, and the last one actually seen by a large amount of people was in Australia a couple of years ago, there have been various sightings of these displays, but there isnt any knowledge of what they actually are…
Me and my wife where smoking today (16/05/08) out on the balcony due to our 4 month old baby. We noticed a green light (with a small trail) going from north to south raising his altitude. At first we thought it was a plane due to its altitude raise. But we continued to see it and the light did not blink so we were positive it was not a plane. Also, its speed was way above anything we seen (airport is just a few miles away). Then, after like 10-15 seconds, it suddendly turned yellow-ish / orange-ish and dissapeared.
We are positive it wasn’t a star (slower than falling star and way too big and too low + the upwards direction) but not any kind of plane we seen all the years staying here. If it was a plane this close we would 100% hear its engines.

it was a quite new years day, my gf and i had just got back from the club…i went to drop her at her house n we where just say goodbye in the car…then suddenly we spotted this bright green light falling from the sky n just vanished into nothing…we both really freaked out, but we never did think about it again… until now n we are wondering if it was a falling star a meteoroid or something in that field ??
I too have seen it, about fifty kilometers (31 miles) east of Ballarat in Victoria, Australia. It didn’t look like a meteor or a flare (OR A UFO FOR THAT MATTER). After a bit of research I came across an article in the Pittsburgh Tribune in October of 2005 (a U.S paper). The article claimed that it was a ‘Bolide Meteor.’ I google imaged this meteor and found that it bared a striking resemblance to the green light I witnessed. Maybe all posting comments should read this article or google image the ‘Bolide Meteor’ as it might be what you all saw.

i saw the same thing just right now i went down to see what my dog was up to and i was looknig out the window and there is this red and green flashing light in the sky and it kinda freaks me out but also i wouldl ove to know what it is if anyone know i would love if u could tell me what it is

I saw a neon green light this morning at 5:15 am July 13, 2008, with a red tail and it was close to the house and seemed to bob up and down then dissappeared. My friends laughed but it was so strange that I found this website. I live in Orlando, Fl and thought I would share this also.
Around 5:15 am July 16th we saw a green light all around us and to the north of us it was flashing. Our animals inside and outside of our house were going crazy. The ones outside wanted to come in and the ones inside wanted to go out. We saw many helicopters and planes heading toward the source of the flashing lights. But the odd thing is that they didnt mention ANYTHING on the news about it. We live in Parma Ohio by the way.
On Aug. 5 2008 2:15am Freddy and i also a couple of freinds were juz having a good time swimming n relaxing and then all of a sudden a what seemed 2 b a green falling star flashed through the sky with out any sound.. but as well as it being green it seemed 2 change colors such as yellow, red, orange, and white as the tail then after it left or veiw a bright flash occured and mind u that after all this had happend very abnormal things started 2 occur. Noises from the silent sky errupted n wut seemed 2 b ghostly figures occured..
Freddy and Isaiah, I also saw the green light. It changed colors as it swept through the sky. It olny lasted about a second and none of my other friends saw it. But, I saw it at about 9:30pm central. What time zone do you live in? I didn’t hear any noises but I did think I was losing my mind. It was the most beautiful falling star I’ve ever seen and it probably was a once in a life time event.
i saw a green light as well. it was like a long line of green light and the stars around it were moving. i heard a humming sound for about 10 sec. then it just shot back and disappeared. im contemplating on how we dont know things got off and are on the earth as we speak. how do we know they dont look like regular humans and are watching us…. who says there green and weird looking. they might just look like regular people
I had my own turn last night to see this bright green ball of light. I was driving outside of Moravia, NY at around 11pm est when I saw it. I probably wouldn’t even have noticed it in the sky if it wasn’t so bright in a very dark sky. It was moving left to right in my field of vision extremely fast, and just vanished after only a couple seconds. There was only a little blur of a green tail, more from how fast it was moving, than as if it was a meteor burning and leaving a trail of smoke. I’ve tried to work out any rational possibility, but as it was moving horizontal to the earth, I don’t see it being a meteor or star falling, and there were no clouds so it didn’t just dip behind a cloud, it truely vanished. And I can’t imagine any aircraft that could move that fast, or be that far from the earth. In spite of the bright and vivid color, it seemed to be very far away. I also did google Bolide Meteor as suggested, and while the color almost does match what I saw, I still don’t think it’s possible to have been the same thing, it wasn’t falling as a meteor or star would, so I don’t have any other way to explain what I saw.
Back in December I was driving home at night with the foreign exchange student who was living with us at the time. I was watching the road, but something caught my attendtion out of the corner of my left eye, I looked up and saw a little green ball in the sky. I told Anais to look up, I no sooner said this and the ball exploded, covering a huge portion of the sky in neon green light. We both gasped, and just as it had exploded, it retracted into a little ball and vanished. We talked about what we thought it could be, but never made anything of it. However, tonight I was coming in my driveway in my car with my mother following close behind me when something caught my attendtion, this time when I looked up it was a horizontal green beam of light about 30 ft in the air above me. I looked all around, but there are no houses in the area, and it was completely black. When I parked my car my mom asked me “did you see that!?”
My husband and I were pulling up in our driveway last night and it wasn’t even dark yet and we saw a bright green light falling from north west to south east in Pass Christian Mississippi. We have researched and tried to find out what it was and so far found this. I am very interested and curious as to anyone’s ideas of what it might have been and if anyone else in south mississippi has seen it. It was really cool looking, but it was falling fast. It was definitely in our atmosphere and had to have landed somewhere on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi or in the Gulf of Mexico just off the beach somewhere.
me and my friend candice were driving home around 9:30 today, august 26,2008. in Central Massachusetts and we seen a bright green ball fall from the sky. it was way to close to be a shooting star and it deffinatly was not a plane.

Early this morning about 2:30AM my friend and I were driving on the highway in Connecticut and all of a sudden to the left in front of us, the sky lit up green and there was a fire-ball type thing fall from the sky like a remnant of a firework. It was green and very low, so I figure it’s not a meteor, but we can’t figure out any other answer. It was the freakiest and most mysterious thing I have ever seen, we both screamed for about 5 minutes. We honestly thought it was a plane going down, but there was no explosion, it just disspeared. And we would have seen something nearby because it was really that close. It was very odd and we are still contemplating what it is!

Sunday August 24th, 2008 8:30pm flying out of San Francisco, we were just above the city and the bay. I was looking out the window of the plane at the sunset when right over the city I saw a white flash in the sky that turned metallic / neon green then fell/trickled like tinsel towards the ground for 2/10ths of a second. I first thought it was a shooting star that exploded in the atmosphere but it was merely a mile or two above the city, nowhere near the atmospheric boundary.
The strangest part came a week later when a girl walked up to me at a party in the mountains looked at me then unprompted asked “have you ever seen a green explosion in the sky?” Turns out she saw it 10 years ago from the ground in Wisconsin. She merely knows when to ask other people if they’ve seen it. She asked someone else a few months before and he’d seen it 2 years ago in Minnesota.

Ok i dont know if anyone has seen what ive seen but i am taking a s***. i just got back from MDC and my fiance and i were sitting outside his car talking. when all of a sudden we saw this neon green light that covered the sky, it looked like thunder but all over the sky in bright neon green. it was flashing and it was only there for about 2 sec. The funny thing i thought it was wierd thunder but it didnt rain and there were clear skies. Oh and this light had no noise what so ever. Please anyone let me know what this is im freaking out. My fiance also said he saw the same thing 6 months before at sunset. We live in miami,fla this was at 11pm.
I to have seen strange green lights - one was about 2 weeks ago, i thought at first it was a falling star but it turned green, my son thought maybe it was fireworks. Then again tonight I had seen it again (12/09/08 - Australian Queensland time around about 6.30pm), this time it appeared to be falling from the north heading west into the earth. It looked to be within the atmosphere. In all my years I have never seen this before. My son asked me if I had been smoking funny tobacco. But i know what I saw and am interested to know what this could have been, especially since this is reoccuring.
I woke up this morning to a beam of faint green light shining into my window. It reflected off the glass on one of my framed posters, so I turned over and stared at it until it faded away, which only took about 2 minutes. Then it seemed to beam a florescent white light for a few seconds and then faded away completely. It totally freaked me out and I wasn’t able to go back to sleep. What on Earth could that have been? Would a meteor create a beam of green light?

5.26am Monday 22nd September I just walked out the back door of my office two bright green lights were literally flying across the sky, they moved rapidly, I thought they may have been military jets but the disappeared far too quickly. They moved at what appeared to be exactly the same speed for about 10 seconds then they were gone. Wierd - I thought so!
Has anyone seen this before. The lights looked round they were flourescent green wiht what appeared to be white or fading to white around the outside.
One more point - the lights were in the northern sky heading west. (Sydney)
At 6:20 A.M on 9-25-08 in Tonawanda NY myself and another truck driver saw a green light shoot across the sky. It was not very high in the sky and looked as though it was going to crash in the Niagara river. it lasted only a few seconds and disappeared behind a large plant near the river. It looked like a shooting star but much to close to the ground. Did anyone else see this , traffic was pretty heavy at this time and it few over the 190 and and 290 junction
On 9/23/2008, in Mandeville, La, I went on my front porch to have my last cigarette for the night. When I lit my cig I pick my head up and look out into the night (10:15 pm) My eye caught a glowing green light the size of a baseball, I do not remember a trail, but the light was neon-ish. Very clear, the first thing I thought of was a Roman Candle, but no one was out and it was as big as a baseball. When my vision caught sight of this green ball it was about 50ft up and came straight down, steady speed, not fast and not slow. I watched it until trees got in the way, and saw it continue down through the trees and shrubbery but did not see it hit the ground because it was across the street in front of two houses. I watched it for about 5-10 seconds. Weird! It was a perfectly clear night.

i live in murfreesboro tennessee and while looking out of my car window i noticed a light green glowing ball falling from the sky. i live in the country so there’s no way it was a project of fire works.
hi jessica my name is james at 9:15pm 10/9/08 i was standing out side on the sidewalk and looked up only to see a brite green fire ball with sparks coming off of it.this thing was coming from the southwest to southeast. it was going downward to the lake in milwaukee wisconsin do you think it maybe the same thing?
I have also seen what’s been described here– this happened about 6 months ago when I was living in Bemidji, MN. My husband and I were driving home around 10 pm and ahead of us and a little to our right there was a bright green light that fell down from the sky– with a blue-green streak behind it. It was way too close and big to be a plane or star or anything far away in space. It did look like a big firework– but also with no sound.
It freaked me out so much that I yelled “what the heck is that?!!” I asked my dad about it and he said it could be “space junk” falling to the earth??? I’d love to know if anyone else knows what it was.
HI: it’s james again just a little more info to add for the night of 10/9/08 this thing made no sound at all and there was no smoke trail following behind. and it was coming down but at one point it was almost level in the sky before it came down. in the southeast side of town and i heard no sound of it crashing to the ground. Now that’s one of the problems iam having with it being a shooting star. also 30min later two helicopters with brite lights on the front of each one and they were looking were this thing had landed. now for all of you who maybe thinking here is just a nother tall tale its ok with me but i put my life on what i saw that night to be all true. but it’s funny most people chose to beleave what ever our government tells them. but for the people who have nothing to gane they turn a death ear how sad a world we’ve all become. on that note i wish you all well.
This is King here i’m 22M i live in Brooklyn, NY. On 10/06/08 the night after my birthday(10/05/08) i was outside just talking to my girlfriend on my porch. i usually look in the sky at night at the moon and sometimes i look for the big dipper and just stars period so i’m use to looking in the sky. so we started talking about some random stuff when i look in the sky near 3 houses on my street i seen a bright neon green like suddenly appear and went down diagonally behind the houses. well i couldn’t see behind the houses so i don’t know where it went but it just suddenly appeared it was crazy nobody believes me. first thing people say is northern lights i seen NL’s many times on tv and pictures and it does not look anything like what i seen. thanks for listening Be good! ok so i live in lake county California and was a little disturbed when i saw something green streak down in the sky at about 11:10 pm looking at the sky it streaked down about 1 1/2 ft. started out a neon-ish green into a yellow then a pale white-ish where it disappeared behind Mt.Konocti. the first time i saw this was probably early July and i though i was out of my mind until this last time when a friend of mine also witnessed this. does anyone have any insite on what this may be????? there was no noise accompanied with it just the bright light that lit the sky. i also think it was a bit too large to be a falling star. when explaining my first sighting of this “object” too close friends and family they either thought i was going bonkers or had been doing drugs, i assure everyone this is not the case.
i saw something tonight that was somewhat similar to what everyone else has seen…i live in sonoma, california and i was driving home at around 11-11:15 pm when i saw a huge flash of bright white & electric blue light on my left side. it was ridiculously close to the ground, no more than 300 feet in the air. there was no tail, and it looked to be about the size of a car. i kept watching to see if i could find where it hit the ground, but i didn’t see/hear a thing.
jagerslayer, I think I may have seen the same thing you saw last night. My boyfriend and I were driving home from the races in Sac. We were on hwy 65 right about Wheatland and I saw the same thing you are describing. I explained what I saw to my boyfriend at which he replied “what have you been smoking?” Anyway, I came home and googled it and I came to your story. I read it to him and he said that it sounds like you and I may have seen the same mysterious light. I saw it at about 11:10 as well.

so nice to know i was not the only one who saw that last night well i did find some vids on youtube… about the mysterious green fireball someone has cought it on camera and it was exactly what i saw… turns out its a meteorite no smaller then a can of soda and no bigger then about half a VW bug. they dont make noise. which is exactly what happened so glad me n my friend were not the only ones who saw that! unless we are all “smoking” the same crud lol. my e-mail is caitlinh66@hotmail.com i also have messenger if anyone would like to get a hold of me.
i seen a green beam driving home tonight, but it was quite different what everyone else has meantioned. i was driving through a forest preserve area in tinley park, IL (the history channel just did a show about ufo sightings here, not related to this at all though). this green beam shot straight towards me from ahead (not above), but when it hit the ground about 15 feet in front of me, the width of the light on the ground matched the size of a basketball and disappeared, it all must of happenned in one second. could this have just been someones laser gun thingy?
i live in halls tennesee, in the usa. i have witnessed this phenomenon twice, once while driving home by myself, and yesterday night driving home from dyersburg with a friend. both of us witnessed this green light. i saw the light come on, it gradually got brighter, and then shot towards the ground. this is the same thing i saw that one night driving home by myself.
I saw a bright white shooting star while driving in the early evening in Northwestern British Columbia. It changed to bright green and then back to a brighter white and then exploded in a ball of red/orange. None of us had ever seen anything like it before. Having read all this, I guess it is more common than we thought.
I was just sitting outside tonight in Springville Utah and at 10:50 a bright blue green light came down from the sky and moved towards the mountain. It moved in a pattern that looked like electricity but even though it was dark it almost looked like it was coming from a brown object. It moved really fast but lit up the sky. It made no sound. I saw something different about 10 or so years ago moving up from the ground while I was in the mountains, but it was bright white. I was alone tonight but the first one I saw was witnessed by about three people right around sunset. Its really strange and most people I have asked have never seen anything like this. What are they?

We just saw the exact same thing here in Utah! My husband and I were watching television and out of our window we saw what looked like a firework, with no noise, or a large thick, close shooting star. The mass was bright green like a stoplight, and it had a gold tail. It fell South East of our home. We went to investigate, but couldn’t find anything at all. Weird.

Callers contacted U.S. Coast Guard stations on the California coast late Saturday night about a bright green light in the sky, some fearing it was a boat distress signal.
It was apparently remnants of a meteor shower, said Coast Guard officials. “I saw in the northwest sky a meteor, or something, fall from the sky with such intensity that I have never seen before,” wrote reader Joseph Stone in an email to the newspaper. “It was an intense bright green and it fell very, very quickly,” Stone wrote.
He said he was driving west, just after 11 p.m. when he saw the light to his right. “It was quite startling. I have never seen anything like this ever before.”
At the Bodega Bay station, a few calls came in at about 11 p.m. and Coast Guard members on a boat on the water also reported seeing the show. “We received a couple reports, somebody thought they saw a flare,” said Petty Officer Taylor Smith, at the Bodega Bay station.
The Coast Guard boat looked to see if there were any boats in trouble, but found none, officials said.
Coast Guard officials contacted San Francisco’s Coast Guard station and were told they too were getting calls.“They also were receiving similar reports throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and San Pablo Bay,” Smith said.
A Coast Guard officer in San Francisco Sunday said that station had calls from Bodega Bay to Monterey reporting green lights in the sky.The sightings coincided with reports of a meteor shower expected to be seen over some days starting last week.
tonight I was in san antonio headed home to new braunfels and saw what looked like a green bottle rocket going side ways in the sky. It was bright green with a green tail. It only appeared for a second. This isnt the first time i saw it. about a year ago i was putting gas and was looking at the sky and saw the same exact thing over H-E-B.

On November 12, at exactly 9:30 pm, i saw a bright green streak cut through the southern sky, traveling from the ten o’clock position to the four o’clock (top left to bottom right.) I live in Norwich, Connecticut, north of New London. I hear about “space junk” entering the atmosphere—is this what it was?
Last night (Nov. 12th) at around 9:30pm or so I saw a BRIGHT green and blue fire ball/meteorite type thing falling from the sky. I was driving home from school headind south and saw it out the window on my left and it fell almost parallel to me, was a good size and seamed pretty close. It landed in the wooded median and dassappeared. It made no sound that I could here and was amazingly beautiful.
Glad I found this site. Talia — I’m curious where you are located but I’m thinking you saw the same thing that tbird3rd and I both saw in the Eastern US. I’m on Long Island, NY and was walking home at 9:30. I looked up at the sky and saw an awesome blue green light streak across the sky. It was just as tbird described: to the south, and went from the 10 o’clock position to the 4 o’clock position. The colors were spectacular and streaked across the sky, remaining imprinted on the sky for the briefest of moments before washing away.
It was gorgeous and I’m glad I saw it. Just wish I had an explanation to it. I’m thinking meteorite or junk, obviously. It looked like something entering the atmosphere and burning apart — quite spectacularly, I’ll add.
Thanx talia and JB for confirming what i saw that night. I would also like to know where talia saw the event and where it landed? From what JB describes, it must’ve been over the water, south of Long Island. I’m still searching for an answer. If i find out before you do, i’ll post it here.

Hi , I live in Hubbardston Massachusetts and both me and my husband saw this green ball of light that glowed like it was inside a bubble, He happened to be 20 minutes East from me when we both saw it. It was November 12th around 9:30, it flew across the sky and looked like it disappeared towards the ground. Very curious! I was really waiting to see if I was going to see a big mushroom cloud after it hit the ground. But nothing. Crazy stuff.
i went to cabo san lucas in mexico about a year and a half ago. i was outside on the beach and looked up and saw eaxcalty what is being described.
My friend told me that while coming to work around 6:10 am in the Sacramento, cA area she saw a green light that shot across the sky and then arched down toward the ground and disappeared. Did anyone else see this?

me and my friend tom were sitting out back having a cigarette when i noticed a neon green light with a small trailing tail behind it i pointed at it the second i saw it and when my friend went to look at it it totally disappeared i explained to him it looked like some kind of firework/flare but it was quite noticeable it was not the weird thing was besides the whole site of it was that it did not have any sound it realy creaped me out and my friend
i belive that there could be other life forms out there and wether this was one or not is unawnserable
